[As of 3/31/14] AGG tracks the same index as our segment benchmark. This, combined with skillful optimization that closely replicates all of the index’s key features, enables AGG to deliver broad, unbiased exposure to the US investment-grade bond market. The fund’s only flaw is an allocation to short-term paper, which drags down its yield and duration a touch.
