FLBLFranklin Liberty Senior Loan ETF
FLBL Fund Description
FLBL is an actively managed fund investing in USD-denominated senior loans.
FLBL Factset Analytics Insight
FLBL invests in USD-denominated senior loans of both US and non-US companies. The fund aims to produce a high level of current income, with capital preservation as a secondary goal. The debt is generally floating rate and sub-investment-grade, rated B- or better, but up to 25% of the funds holdings may have a lower credit rating. Floating rates virtually eliminate the interest rate risk of the portfolio, but can increase the credit risk if issuers struggle to make larger payments when rates rise. Exposure to non-US issuers is capped at 25%. FLBL charges lower fees than peer funds, which may make it attractive despite having less of a track record than some of its competitors.
