OEUR Factset Analytics Insight
OEUR, along with OASI, follows up the first launch from new issuer O’Shares Investments, the US-focused OUSA. OEUR brings a factor-based, high-dividend-yield approach to the large- and midcap European equity markets. Constituents in the underlying index are selected from the FTSE Developed Europe Index—roughly 500 of the largest publicly listed companies within developed Europe—and weighted by three factors: high quality, low volatility and high dividend yield. While the specific construction methodologies are not disclosed, the fund places a 5% cap on any one constituent at each quarterly rebalance to avoid under-diversification. For this exposure, OEUR charges a higher fee than similar existing funds. We will have full scoring in February 2016.
