UKW ETF.com Insight

UKW provides daily 2x levered exposure to the Russell MidCap Growth Index, which selects midcap growth stocks from the Russell 1000. This is the long version of sister-fund UKW, whichinvestors face wide spreads and very thin trading volum provides 2x inverse exposure to the same index. Simple long exposure can be had through iShares IWP. The fund achieves leverage primarily through the use of swap agreements, which carry counterparty risk. A list of holdings (including counterparties) is published daily on ProShares website. Like all levered funds, UKW tends to underperform its target multiple in volatile markets if held for longer than its daily reset period, and is only suitable for short-term trading positions. Unfortunately, investors face wide spreads and very thin trading volume. AUM is thin too.
