With the economy still showing concern in the U.S. and job rates still high, many investors are looking at equity investments outside the US. One of the easiest ways of investing internationally is with Exchange-Traded Funds or ETFs. Of the roughly 1,500 ETFs available to trade, there are 7 large ones that focus on international markets.

In an article published at Forbes.com today, noteworthy inflows into specific ETFs are mentioned, in particular VTI, the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index which saw over $100 million in inflows in the past week. The source cited ETFChannel, also mentions noteworthy inflows in PFF, CFT, and others.

Vanguard has reduced fees on thirteen ETFs, including the Total Stock Market Index, the Vanguard S&P 500 Index. Vanguard cites the increasing AUM in the ETFs making the lower fees possible. Vanguard is currently the 3rd largest ETF provider in the U.S. For the original article click here.

Vanguard recently reported that it was lowering fees on its sector ETF fund family. Most of the fees are being reduced from 0.24 percent to .019 percent, slightly lower than many of competitor SSgA’s sector funds expense ratio of .20 percent.
