Renewed volatility in the Silver ETFs hit the markets Monday with the leveraged long silver ETF (ZSL) gaining 16%, while the inverse leveraged silver (AGQ) closed down 29 points for a loss of 15%. AGQ is down more than 200 points from its high in late April of 382.

The iShares Silver Trust ETF (SLV) posted its first decline this week, closing at 36.51 minus 1.11% on Thursday, May 26th. Thus far in May, SLV has pulled back 22%, while the SPDR Gold Trust (GLD) has declined less than 3%. For original article, click here.

Today there was great volatility in silver ETFs. The iShares Silver Trust, ticker SLV, traded over 44 million shares, and closed down -8.64% at 42.83, lower by over 4 points for the day.
