Global X Funds has made an entry in the emerging market funds through the two new debut ETFs, the Global X Russell Emerging Markets Growth ETF (EMGX) and the Global X Russell Emerging Markets Value ETF (EMVX).
These two new ETFs are being correlated with fresh set of Russell indexes which has been planned to express the growth in the value assets of mega-cap stocks in emerging markets. Mega-cap stocks can be understood as the stocks of those companies whose market size is about or above $50 billion.
The CEO of Global X Funds, Mr. Bruno del Ama said that the whole company is excited about their entrance in the emerging market and he is excited about the Russell indexes to which the new Global X Funds ETFs have been lined to as he said, ‘We are pleased to be pairing with Russell Indexes, a recognized leader in the development of style indices, to bring these products to market.”
Global X Funds worth of U.S. listed ETFs were around $1.29 billion during the closing of 2010.
