Rolf Agather, CFA, is managing director of research and innovation for Russell Investments' family of global indexes, which offers an objective and transparent way to accurately measure distinct segments of the global market. He leads a global team in the creation of new index concepts and publishes compelling research on capital markets, indexation and investment management. He is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University.

Robert Arnott

Rob Arnott is chairman and CEO of Research Affiliates. He pioneered several unconventional portfolio strategies that are now widely applied, including tactical asset allocation, global tactical asset allocation, tax-advantaged equity management and the Fundamental Index approach to investing. Arnott's firm explores novel approaches to active asset allocation, optimal portfolio construction, efficient forms of indexation and other quantitative strategies. Kim Arthur

Kim Arthur is president of Main Management. He has 22 years’ experience in the financial services business. Main is an outsourced CIO that uses a combination of top-down and bottom-up analysis to deliver risk-adjusted liquid, transparent and diversified strategies. All strategies are implemented with exchange-traded funds, and have been since the firm’s inception in 2002. Main’s target clientele are high net worth and foundations/endowments.

Howard Atkinson

Howard Atkinson, CFA, CIMA, ICD.D, is managing director of Horizons ETFs Management (USA) LLC, as well as global head of ETF Sales and Marketing for Mirae Asset Global Investments. He has over 26 years’ investment industry experience focused on ETFs. Atkinson was previously responsible for the overall success of the ETP business at Barclays Global Investors Canada. He is the author of the first book on ETFs, “The New Investment Frontier” (2001), which has since gone through three editions.

Pramod Atluri

Pramod Atluri, CFA, is a portfolio manager for Fidelity Management & Research Company, the investment advisor for Fidelity’s family of mutual funds. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries. He received a B.S. in biological chemistry from the University of Chicago and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Michael Baradas

Michael Baradas is product manager for Cross-Asset Strategies and ETF Solutions at Bloomberg Tradebook. He helped build the Cross-Asset Trading Platform for equities, options and futures, and recently rolled out the ETF RFQ platform. Baradas began his career on the International Equities Program Trading Desk at Societe Generale. He then traded several proprietary trading strategies in the Equity Derivatives department, including single-stock options volatility, convertible and risk arbitrage.

Mary Ann Bartels

Mary Ann Bartels is CIO of Portfolio Strategies for Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Investment Management and Guidance. She is responsible for leading the Portfolio Strategies Desk, ETF strategies, and marketing and communications for IMG’s content platform, product launches and publications. Bartels appears on CNBC and Bloomberg, and is often quoted in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and Barron’s. She has a B.S. and M.A. in economics from Fordham University.

William Belden

William H. Belden III is a managing director for product development at Guggenheim Investments. In his role, he has direct oversight for ETFs and Rydex mutual funds. Belden is regularly quoted in financial media outlets. He earned his B.S. in finance from Miami University and his MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Belden is series 7, 24 and 63 registered.

Richard Bernstein

Richard Bernstein is CEO and CIO of Richard Bernstein Advisors. The firm uses a unique top-down approach to investing, focusing on macro trends rather than individual stock selection. He is also an adjunct professor of finance at the NYU/Stern Graduate School of business, and a member of the Journal of Portfolio Management's Advisory Committee. Bernstein holds an MBA in finance from New York University and a B.A. in economics from Hamilton College.

Darshan Bhatt

Darshan Bhatt is a co-founder and deputy CIO at Glovista, responsible for managing global macro strategies. Previously, he co-managed global macro strategies at Proxima Alfa. Prior to that, Bhatt worked on J.P. Morgan’s US and EM Equity Strategy teams. He has also worked in J.P. Morgan’s M&A group. Bhatt holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, as well as the Chartered Accountant (India), CPA, CFA and CMT designations.

Benjamin Blaisdell, CFA, CAIA

Benjamin Blaisdell, CFA, CAIA, is managing director, investment solutions executive, Investment Solutions and Business Management at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. In this role, he is responsible for the investment platforms and fiduciary risk oversight of the outside investment offerings on the U.S. Trust platform. Blaisdell also is helping to transition and develop the firm’s existing and future investment platforms. He received a B.S. in finance from Boston University.

David Blitzer

David Blitzer is managing director and chairman of S&P Dow Jones Indices’ Index Committee. He has overall responsibility for security selection for the company’s indexes, as well as index analysis and management. Blitzer previously served as chief economist for Standard & Poor’s and as corporate economist at The McGraw-Hill Companies. A graduate of Cornell University, he received his M.A. in economics from George Washington University and his Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University.

Richard Block

Rich Block, CPA, is SVP and head of F-Squared Investment’s Capital Trading and Operations. He manages the F-Squared Capital Trading & Operations team. Previously, Block was EVP of Trading at QuantShares, where he designed trade execution strategies, raised seed capital and achieved regulatory approval for the launch of the first market-neutral ETFs with physical short positions. Block earned his B.S. in accounting from Albany State University, and holds FINRA licenses 7 and 63.

Paul Bosse

Paul Bosse, CFA, CIMC, is a principal in the Vanguard Investment Strategy Group. He works with institutional clients, consulting on asset allocation and portfolio construction issues. Before joining Vanguard, Bosse was director of asset allocation and chairman of the Investment Committee at DuPont Capital Management. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Terry Bradshaw

Terry Bradshaw is the only NFL player with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He’s a four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback and a two-time Super Bowl MVP, as well as being a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. Bradshaw is a multi-Emmy and award-winning broadcaster for FOX on Fox NFL Sunday. He is also a New York Times best-selling author. Bradshaw earned his B.S. in physical education from Louisiana Tech.

James Breech

James Breech spent more than 15 years specializing in global capital markets prior to founding Cougar Global Investments in 1993. As full professor, he taught advanced international finance in the MBA program in the Faculty of Administrative Studies at York University in Toronto. Dr. Breech earned his B.A. from the University of Toronto, his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and his Ph.D. from Harvard University.

Paul Britt

Paul Britt, CFA is a senior ETF specialist analyst at ETF.com. He focuses on index strategies and alternative ETFs. He worked most recently as a private placement agent at an IRA custodian. Paul holds an M.S. in financial analysis from the University of San Francisco and is an active member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.

Cory Burnell

Cory Burnell, CFA, is CIO of BluePrint Wealth Partners, a registered investment advisor headquartered in San Diego. He manages multiple ETF and options strategies with hedged exposures to volatility including both long and short VIX futures through ETPs. He holds an MBA and a B.A. in economics/mathematics.

Mariana Bush

Mariana Bush is a closed-end fund and exchange-traded tracking product senior analyst in the Advisory Services group at Wells Fargo, providing financial advisors and their clients with individual security recommendations in the CEF and ETP universes. She has been widely quoted in publications such as Barron's, Bloomberg, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. Bush received her B.S.E. in the Civil Engineering and Operations Research department from Princeton University.

Robbie Cannon

Robbie Cannon is president and CEO of Horizon Investments LLC, which specializes in active asset allocation, risk mitigation and retirement income. During his tenure, which began in 1999, Horizon has grown from a small retail RIA firm to a $1 billion third-party investment management group with a national footprint of independent broker-dealers and institutional clients. Canon’s career in finance began in 1994, and has encompassed various aspects of portfolio management. He graduated from Furman University.

James Carville

James Carville is America's best-known political consultant. His most prominent victory was helping Bill Clinton win the presidency in 1992. Carville is also a best-selling author, actor, producer, talk-show host, speaker and restaurateur. He is a Fox News contributor and can be seen on other networks worldwide. Carville is a columnist for The Hill newspaper, which publishes daily when Congress is in session, and serves as a professor of Practice at Tulane University in New Orleans.

Sanjay Chablaney

Sanjay Chablaney is head of ETF Trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he is responsible for institutional market making and risk management across all ETF asset classes (equity, fixed income and commodities). He has more than 14 years of experience trading index products, and specializes in ETF arbitrage. Chablaney holds a B.S. in computer science from Stony Brook University and an MBA in finance from St. John's University.

Nick Cherney

Nick Cherney, CFA, CIO, co-founded VelocityShares in 2009. Previously, he worked at Barclays Capital in New York and had product development and management responsibilities for iPath ETNs. Cherney has appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and is frequently quoted in the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and other leading financial publications. He holds a B.A. in economics with highest honors from UC Berkeley.

Sean Clark

As Clark Capital's Chief Investment Officer, Sean oversees all of the Firm's investment activities and heads the firm's portfolio team. Sean joined the firm in 1993 and is responsible for asset allocation and investment selection for Navigator Investment Solutions as well as directing ongoing market research and contributing to the development of proprietary products. Sean is a member of the Clark Capital Board of Directors, the Investment Committee and the Management Committee. He graduated from the University of Delaware, earning a B.S. and an M.A. in Economics. Sean is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia, Inc. Todd Clarke

Todd Clarke is CEO of CLS Investments LLC. Prior to this role, he was a wholesaler, sales manager, executive vice president of sales and marketing, and president. Clarke is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and marketing, portfolio management and business development. He currently holds Series 7, Series 63 and Series 66 securities licenses. Clarke received a B.S. in business management from Brigham Young University.

William Costigan

William Costigan joined Guggenheim in 2013. He serves as a member of the Portfolio Construction group, with primary responsibilities to design and implement fixed-income strategies, specifically total return mandates, for mutual funds, closed-end funds and ETFs. He earned an MBA with honors from Loyola Marymount University and a B.S. in economics with honors from John Carroll University.

Joseph Cunningham

Joseph Cunningham is EVP and head of Capital Markets of Horizons ETFs Management (USA). He oversees all market-making and capital-market trading relationships for Horizons ETFs in the U.S., and assists with institutional distribution. Cunningham has more than 30 years of experience spanning investment product and business development, strategic relationships management and the implementation of trading models for global equities and derivatives markets. 

Joseph Davis

Joseph Davis is a principal with Vanguard and its chief economist. He is also global head of its Investment Strategy Group, whose investment research and client-facing team conducts research on portfolio construction, develops the firm's economic and market outlook, and helps oversee the firm's asset allocation strategies for institutional and individual investors. Davis has published studies on a variety of macroeconomic and investment topics in leading academic journals. He earned his Ph.D. in economics at Duke University.

Tammy DeRosier

Tammy DeRosier is a Dorsey, Wright & Associates analyst and executive vice president. She is a co-author of four books with DWA, and has also published articles for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, appeared on such programs as CNBC’s “Taking Stock” as well as on Bloomberg TV. DeRosier can be also heard on several national radio shows and on DWA’s weekly podcast. She regularly contributes to DWA’s daily reports, teaches this methodology across the country and develops guided ETF models.

Joel Dickson

Joel Dickson is Vanguard's global head of investment research and development and a principal in Vanguard Investment Strategy Group. He has testified before Congress on Social Security reform and mutual fund disclosure issues, and is often quoted in the press regarding the role taxes play in portfolio management and asset allocation decisions. Dickson earned an A.B. from Washington University in St. Louis and a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University.

Dan Draper

Dan Draper, CFA, CMT, CAIA, FRM, CFP, is managing director of Global ETFs for Invesco PowerShares Capital Management. He has over two decades of diverse financial services experience, including eight years in leadership positions in the ETF industry. Draper received his BA from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently a board member of the CFA Society of the United Kingdom.

Ric Edelman

Ric Edelman has been three times ranked the #1 independent financial advisor in the nation by Barron's. In 2012, the highly regarded industry website RIABiz.com named him one of the “10 most influential figures” in the investment advisory field. Edelman’s eighth book, “The Truth About Retirement Plans and IRAs,” a #1 national best-seller, was published in April 2014. He graduated cum laude from Rowan University in 1980; the university bestowed upon him an honorary doctorate in 1999.

Tim Edwards

Tim Edwards is director of Index Investment Strategy for S&P Dow Jones Indices. The group provides research and commentary on S&P Dow Jones Indices global equities, commodities, fixed income, and economic indices. Previously, Edwards worked at Barclays Capital on product development of exchange-traded notes across all asset classes. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from University College London.

Dan Egan

Dan Egan is director of Behavioral Finance and Investments at Betterment. He has spent his career using behavioral finance to help people make better financial and investment decisions. Egan is a published author of multiple publications related to behavioral economics. He lectures at New York University, London Business School, and the London School of Economics on the topic.

Nigel Emmett

Nigel Emmett, CFA, managing director, is a senior client portfolio manager for the Global Equities team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and heads the group’s efforts globally. An employee since 1997, he was previously with Brown Brothers Harriman in New York, and with Gartmore Investment Management and Equitable Life Assurance in London. Emmett obtained a B.A. in economics from Manchester University.

William Ferrell

William Ferrell is president and chief investment officer of Ferrell Capital Management, which he founded in 1988. Prior to that, he was employed by Kidder Peabody, where he was on the board of directors and management committee, and managed the firm’s trading operation. Ferrell has been trading securities and derivatives and managing traders for more than four decades. He holds a B.A. in economics and history from Hampden-Sydney College.

James Ferrin

James Ferrin, CFA, is chief investment officer at Quantitative Advantage LLC. He joined QA in 2013, having previously served as vice president and director of Portfolio Management at Curian Capital LLC. Prior to that, Ferrin was vice president and senior portfolio manager with Wells Fargo Institutional Asset Advisors. He earned a B.A. in business finance from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

John Forlines III

John A. Forlines III is chairman and chief investment officer of JAForlines Global (JFG), a New York-based investment management company specializing in separately managed portfolios and model account strategies for broker-dealers, RIAs and their representatives. JFG also offers a tactical allocation collective fund for use in 401(k) plans. In addition to his leadership as portfolio manager for JFG’s investment strategies, Forlines is an adjunct professor in the department of Economics at Duke.

Clayton Fresk

Clayton Fresk, CFA, is a portfolio manager for the model-driven Stadion Tactical Income strategy, responsible for the management and trading of the underlying ETF exposure and model development. He takes a lead role in managing the fixed-income and cash exposures across Stadion’s suite of products. Fresk also conducts in-depth market and technical analysis on equities, FX and fixed income. He received an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Daniel Gamba

Daniel Gamba, CFA, is managing director and head of BlackRock’s iShares Americas Institutional Business. He is responsible for business strategy, client service and business development for iShares ETFs among institutional investors such as pension plans, foundations and endowments, asset managers, insurance companies and RIAs in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Iberia. Gamba holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

David Garff

David Garff, CIMA, CAIA serves as the president of Accuvest Global Advisors. He heads the Investment Committee and Research teams, and his responsibilities include oversight of the firm’s asset allocation process, CST investment strategy, country selection model and liquid alternatives portfolios. Garff holds a B.A. in economics and Spanish translation from Brigham Young University, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Dennis Gartman

Dennis Gartman has been directly involved in capital markets since August 1974, after his graduate work at North Carolina State University. In the late 1970s, he became the chief financial futures analyst for A.G. Becker & Company in Chicago. Gartman was an independent member of the Chicago Board of Trade until 1984. In that year, he moved to Virginia to run the futures brokerage operation for Sovran Bank, and in 1987, began producing The Gartman Letter on a full-time basis.

Dave Gedeon

Jeffrey Gundlach

Jeffrey Gundlach is CEO and CIO of DoubleLine. He is recognized as an expert in bond and fixed-income investments. Gundlach's investment strategies have been featured in such publications as the New York Times, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Forbes and Fortune. In 2010, he was named to the SmartMoney Power 30. Gundlach holds a B.A. in mathematics and philosophy from Dartmouth College and attended Yale University as a Ph.D. candidate in mathematics.

Robert Guttschow

Rob Guttschow, CFA, is a senior portfolio manager and co-head of the Alternatives Investment team at First Trust Advisors. He has more than 20 years of investment experience managing a variety of strategies including equity, fixed income, commodities and derivative-based strategies. Guttschow received his B.S. in materials engineering and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.

Brett Hammond

Brett Hammond is managing director and head of Index Applied Research for MSCI, responsible for research to support new risk premia and economic exposure indices as well as cap-weighted indices. He also serves as an ambassador to asset owners and managers on the role of indices in asset allocation and portfolio construction. Hammond received B.A. degrees in economics and political science from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and a Ph.D. from MIT.

David Heck

David Heck, CIMA, AIF, is chief operating officer and senior director of consulting and planning at Heck Capital Advisors. He is also the lead portfolio manager for the Diversified Investment styles and Strategic Index, as well as being primarily responsible for researching and monitoring the Heck Capital Advisors Institutional and Consulting programs. Heck graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in public affairs, majoring in public financial management.

Jeremy Held

Jeremy Held, CFA, CFP, began his career at ALPS in 1996 and has more than 17 years of experience in the ETF industry. He is responsible for research, product development, and consulting services on behalf of the ALPS ETF, Mutual Fund, and Closed-End Fund business segments. His research is focused on satellite and alternative asset classes. Held has been a featured speaker at dozens of investment conferences and has been published in various publications.

Chris Hempstead

Chris Hempstead, head of ETF Sales for KCG, leads the firm’s team serving institutions and issuers with their ETF trading, liquidity and market intelligence needs. KCG is a leading independent securities firm offering investors a range of services for addressing trading needs across asset classes, product types and time zones. KCG has multiple access points to trade global equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities. Hempstead has a BBA in finance from Saint Bonaventure University.

Marten Hoekstra

Marten Hoekstra joined Emerging Global Advisors in 2011. Previously, he worked 26 years at UBS and a predecessor firm, PaineWebber, where he last served as CEO of UBS Wealth Management Americas and a member of the Group Executive Board.

Matt Hougan

Matt Hougan is president of ETF.com. In this position, he oversees the company's editorial, data and analytics efforts, and conferences. Matt is quoted regularly in the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Investor's Business Daily, Fortune, Forbes, TheStreet.com, MarketWatch.com and the Associated Press, and was recently named one of the 25 most influential people in the ETF industry. He is a regular guest on CNBC, and was recently named to Registered Rep's "Ten to Watch in 2012" list.

Dennis Hudachek

Dennis Hudachek is a senior ETF specialist at ETF.com. He is the lead analyst for international and currency ETFs, with a focus on China, Japan, emerging and frontier markets. Hudachek is co-head of ETF.com’s Alpha Think Tank publication, aimed at combining alpha research from leading global macro strategists with ETF.com’s best-in-class beta analysis. He has a B.A. in economics from UC Davis. Hudachek has passed the FINRA series 4, 7, 24, 53, 55, 63 and 66 exams and the CFA Level 1 exam.

Peter Hug

Peter Hug is director of Kitco’s Precious Metals division, where he develops newer and better investment options for the firm’s customers. Hug has been involved in precious metals since 1974. A frequent speaker at precious metals conferences and in the financial media, he is one of the handful of experts who have succeeded through multiple bull and bear cycles on the strength and skills honed during the dramatic fluctuations of the 1980s.

Robert Hughes

Robert Hughes is vice president, head of Index & Advisor Solutions for Nasdaq. He is responsible for managing and developing the Nasdaq Global Index business across the index licensing, benchmarking and custom calculation segments. Hughes works with his team in the U.S., Europe and Asia to devise strategies and create business opportunities for current and prospective Nasdaq clients. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President with Putnam Investments. Hyland earned a BS degree in Business at Miami University and an MBA degree in Finance at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Simeon Hyman

Simeon Hyman, CFA, joined ProShares in 2013 as head of investment strategy. Michael Iachini

Michael Iachini, CFA, CFP, is managing director, ETF Research at Schwab Investment Advisory, where he oversees quantitative research into mutual funds, managed accounts and ETFs. In addition, Iachini is responsible for risk management and trade oversight for Schwab Managed Portfolios. Prior to joining Schwab in 2004, he was a domestic equities analyst for the State Board of Administration of Florida. Iachini earned his B.A. in international affairs and M.S. in economics from Florida State University.

Orhan Imer

Orhan Imer is a portfolio manager with Columbia Management Investment Advisers' Fixed Income and Global Asset Allocation teams, and leads the Inflation, Liability-Driven Investment and Fixed Income Index and ETF Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for a diverse lineup of mutual fund, ETF and institutional strategies, including U.S. & global inflation-linked bonds, core bond ETFs, diversified real returns, global macro and adaptive risk allocation. Imer received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ben Johnson

Ben Johnson, CFA, is global director of manager research for passive strategies at Morningstar. He is responsible for leading the company’s coverage of exchange-traded and index funds. Prior to assuming his current role in 2012, Johnson served as director of ETF research for Europe and Asia. Previously, he was a senior equity analyst, covering the agriculture and chemicals industries. Johnson holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin.

Michael Jones

Michael Jones, CFA, is chairman and CIO of Riverfront Investment Group, bringing more than 25 years of global investment experience to his role in leading the organization. He is a regular guest on financial news channels (CNBC, Bloomberg), and is frequently quoted in the financial press. Michael earned his B.A. in economics from the College of William and Mary and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Rod Jones

Rod Jones is head of sales for North America at STOXX Limited. In this role, he is responsible for business development in the North America region. Jones previously worked at MSCI Barra heading the hedge fund and broker-dealer client coverage teams in the United States. He has extensive experience in the application of quantitative methods to the investment process. Jones holds a B.A. in economics from Whitman College.

Robert D Kaplan

Robert Kaplan is senior fellow for The Center for a New American Security. He is the author of 14 books on foreign affairs and travel, and has been a foreign correspondent for "The Atlantic" for nearly three decades. In 2011 and 2012, he was named by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the world's "Top 100 Global Thinkers." From 2009 to 2011, Kaplan served on the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board appointed by Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

Elisabeth Kashner

Elisabeth Kashner is ETF.com's director of research. She is responsible for the methodology powering ETF.com's Analytics system, providing leadership in data quality, investment analysis and ETF classification. Kashner brings a combination of academic rigor (master's of financial analysis, CFA charter holder) and practical experience in derivatives trading and wealth management, having gained experience with ETF analysis as a quantitative analyst building portfolios for high net worth clients. She also serves as co-head of the San Francisco chapter of Women in ETFs.

Brad Katsuyama

Brad Katsuyama is CEO, president and co-founder of IEX, an equity trading marketplace. Prior to co-founding IEX, he was a 12-year employee of the Royal Bank of Canada where, as the global head of electronic sales and trading, he spearheaded the development of THOR, an award-winning product that helped clients combat predatory high-frequency trading. Katsuyama attended the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.

Brian King

Brian King is the director of listings at BATS Exchange, a U.S. equities exchange operated by BATS Global Markets, the largest stock market operator in the world. He joined BATS in January 2007 and has helped to develop several key business initiatives including the BATS Listings program that launched in the first quarter of 2012, which he also oversees. King graduated from Florida State University and spent much of the early part of his career managing assets through a company he founded, Fortress Financial.

Martha King

Martha King is head of U.S. Financial Intermediaries and managing director at the Vanguard Financial Advisor Services division. She is responsible for business unit strategy and oversees business development, relationship management, daily operations and ETF product management for financial advisor firms that entrust more than $900 billion in assets to Vanguard. King earned a B.S. from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and completed the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Lynne Kinney

Lynne Kinney, CIMA, is a principal at CKW Financial Group. She has more than 20 years' experience in the financial industry, with clientele in Taft-Hartley plans, private foundations, nonprofit organizations, endowments and corporate pension plans. Prior to CKW, Kinney was a senior vice president and institutional consultant with Merrill Lynch. She holds a BBA in finance and international business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

David Kotok

David Kotok is CIO of Cumberland Advisors. His financial market commentaries appear in such publications as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and Barron's. Frank Koudelka

Frank Koudelka is the senior vice president and ETF product specialist for State Street Global Services. In this role, he establishes the strategic direction for ETF servicing globally, assists with the on-boarding of new clients, and drives the product and technology strategy as it relates to ETFs. Koudelka has 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. He attended St. John’s University in New York, majoring in finance.

Michael Kutsaya

Michael Kutsaya is head of portfolio implementation at Brinker Capital. In this role, he supervises a team of traders and ensures that all regulatory and internal compliance procedures are followed within the group. Previously, Kutsaya was a VP of Global Operations at Wachovia and a fixed income settlement manager at Lazard Asset Management. He earned a B.S. in accounting and finance from Drexel University. In addition, Kutsaya holds his FINRA series 7, 24 and 53 licenses.

Andrew Lapthorne

Andrew Lapthorne joined Société Générale in London in November 2007 and heads the Quantitative Analysis team. He spent 11 years at Dresdner Kleinwort. The team runs a variety of systematic quantitative strategies, the most popular being the Global and European Quality Income Strategies. Lapthorne's team is ranked No. 1 in the last Extel survey, and he was also ranked No. 1 as individual analyst for the last six years.

Brent Leadbetter

Brent Leadbetter, CFA, is a relationship manager for RAFI Fundamental Index strategies. In this role, he explains the methodology to institutional and retail investors. Leadbetter also leads Research Affiliates' RIA initiative, meeting with financial advisors to educate them on the firm's research. He earned his B.A. in history from the University of Michigan and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Theodore Lucas

Ted Lucas is managing partner, Investment and Risk Management, with Lattice Strategies. Previously, he was managing director of MCP Chess Group LLC, an investment group based in San Francisco, and also served on the board of directors of Chess Venture Partners, a private investment firm focused on financial services and financial technology companies. Olly Ludwig

Olivier Ludwig is the managing editor of ETF.com. Previously, he was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and an editor at Bloomberg News. Phil Mackintosh

Phil Mackintosh is a managing director at Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division based in New York. In the Equities department, he is the global head of Credit Suisse’s Portfolio Strategy team, which provides in-depth analysis to traders on event trading, statistical trading, beta strategies, trade execution and portfolio hedging. Mackintosh holds an M.S. in quantitative finance, a B.S. in commerce and is also a chartered accountant.

David Mann

David Mann, director, is head of Client Execution Services within the Americas iShares Capital Markets team. His group is responsible for delivering market insights, execution services and product structure expertise for iShares clients across the U.S., Canada and Latin America. David Mazza

Robert Michaud

Robert Michaud is CIO of New Frontier and co-holder of four U.S. patents in portfolio optimization and asset management. His research interests include risk models, empirical asset pricing and international finance. Michaud co-authored "Efficient Asset Management: A Practical Guide to Stock Portfolio Optimization and Asset Allocation," and research articles in refereed journals. Tyler Mordy

Kathleen Moriarty

Kathleen Moriarty is a financial services attorney with Katten Muchin Rosenman. She has extensive experience representing exchange-traded products domestically and abroad, and was instrumental in the launch of SPY. Moriarty is an inaugural member of the ETF Database’s ETF Hall of Fame and received an ETP Icons of the Industry Award. She is a member of the NASDAQ Listing as well as the Hearing Review Council.

Dave Nadig

Dave Nadig is director of exchange-traded funds for FactSet Research Systems. He has been involved in researching, reporting and analyzing the investment management industry for more than 15 years. As managing director at BGI, Nadig helped design and market some of the first ETFs. With partner Don Luskin, he went on to found MetaMarkets.com, a revolutionary transparent mutual fund company. Nadig received his MBA in finance from Boston University.

Adam Nash

Adam Nash is president and CEO of Wealthfront. He joined the firm from Greylock Partners, where he was an executive in residence. Nash has held a number of leadership roles at eBay, including director of eBay Express, as well as strategic and technical roles at Atlas Venture, Preview Systems and Apple. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in computer science from Stanford University as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Bryan Novak

Bryan Novak joined Astor Investment Management in 2002 and currently serves as director of Trading. Eric Pollackov

Eric Pollackov is managing director of ETF Capital Markets for Charles Schwab & Co., managing trading relationships with the market-making community for Schwab’s ETFs. Mitch Reiner

Shundrawn Thomas

Shundrawn Thomas is managing director and head of Northern Trust’s Exchange Traded Funds group. Matthew Tucker

Matthew Tucker, CFA, managing director, is head of Americas iShares Fixed Income Strategy and a member of the Strategy team within BlackRock's Fixed Income Portfolio Management team. Dave Underwood

G. David (Dave) Underwood, CFA, is assistant CIO for the Arizona State Retirement System. Todd H. Westby

Todd Westby is CEO of T Hayes Consulting LLC, where he helps asset management firms develop effective ETF strategies. Westby has served as a senior sales executive for two of the most successful ETF launches in financial services history. As national accounts manager for iShares, he played an integral role in the pioneering of the broker-dealer ETF distribution model. Meredith Whitney

Company founder, CEO & Publisher of ETF.com, ETF Report and Journal of Indexes Jim Wiandt founded IndexUniverse.com in 2001, creating the central hub for information and analysis on indexes, index funds and ETFs. He then acquired Indexes: The Journal of Index Issues from Dow Jones. In 2003, Jim purchased the Exchange-Traded Funds Report. Now as ETF.com, the company has expanded into conferences— running the world’s largest ETF conference (Inside ETFs). He is a 1991 graduate of Tufts University.

Tyler Winklevoss

Tyler Winklevoss is a principal of Winklevoss Capital, a family office investing in varied asset classes, emphasizing providing seed funding and infrastructure to early-stage startups. Winklevoss has been an angel investor and entrepreneur in emerging technologies since 2003. Together with his brother Cameron, he represented the U.S. at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. He received his B.A. in economics from Harvard University and his MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

Catherine Wood

Catherine Wood founded ARK Investment Management in January 2014. Previously, she was chief investment officer of global thematic strategies at AllianceBernstein, with $5 billion in AUM and superior long-term investment returns. Wood joined Alliance Capital from Tupelo Capital Management, a hedge fund she co-founded which, in 2000, managed $800 million in global thematic strategies. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, in finance and economics from the University of Southern California.  ​

Mitch Zacks

Mitch Zacks is Zacks Investment Management’s primary expert on quantitative investing, and has personally developed many of the proprietary models the firm uses in the management of its strategies. Prior to joining the firm, he was an investment banking analyst with Lazard Frères in New York. Zacks has a B.A. in economics from Yale University and an MBA in analytic finance from the University of Chicago.
