CLMA Fund Description
CLMA tracks a tiered index of stocks from global firms that enable significant Carbon Dioxide Equivalents (CO2e) reductions through “CO2e Avoidance”.
CLMA Factset Analytics Insight
CLMA invests in developed and emerging market companies that are classified in the following segments: (i) green energy, (ii) green transportation, (iii) water and waste improvements, (iv) enabling solutions, and (v) sustainable products. Apart from minimum size and liquidity requirements, eligible companies are considered to offer climate change mitigation solutions by offering products and/or services that ultimately enable lower carbon emissions. CO2e Avoidance Companies are then screened to determine their percentage of Green Revenue, compared to total revenue. Those that have a Green Revenue of 20% (or higher), have Green Revenue increased by at least 10% over time, or have publicly disclosed a specific CO2e Avoidance solution as a key revenue source are included in the index. Finally, ESG screens are also employed to provide additional evidence of relevant sustainability and ESG aspects in their operations.
