MVP is an actively-managed fund that seeks to provide broad exposure to the professional sports industry globally.

MVP targets firms actively involved in professional sports. The fund has a wide definition of the industry, encompassing globally-listed traditional sports and eSports companies of any market-cap. This includes professional sports teams and leagues, sports apparel companies, sports media firms, and owners/operators of sports venues, athletic facilities, or other professional sports activities. MVP may also invest in sports companies that have recently made an initial public offering (IPO) and in special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) that intend to merge with a sports company. To curate the portfolio, the fund adviser considers qualitative and quantitative factors to determine the thematic relevance of eligible firms. Securities are selected and weighted accordingly, with an emphasis on professional sports teams. Prior to July 02, 2021, the fund was named Roundhill MVP ETF.
