Manager, Digital Operations

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Digital Operations to oversee the efficient functioning and growth of our website/ad operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing website and ad operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless user experiences. This newly formed position will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional efforts, driving performance improvements, and contributing to the overall success of our online platform. This role will report to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Management: Oversee the management, structuring, and organization of website content to enhance accessibility and user engagement. Ensure content is logically categorized, tagged, and easily searchable, optimizing the user journey.
  • Process Optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement streamlined processes to enhance productivity and quality across all website operations, including content management, updates, and user engagement.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure all website content, features, and functionalities are error-free, responsive, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Technical Analytics Implementation: Coordinate the technical implementation of site analytics tools to gather and analyze data effectively. Ensure accurate tracking of user interactions, conversions, and other relevant metrics.
  • Newsletter Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to manage the content, scheduling, and distribution of newsletters to engage and nurture our audience.
  • Digital Media Operations: Collaborate with the digital media team to integrate and manage various multimedia elements on the website, such as images, videos, and interactive content.
  • Ad Campaign Management: Day-to-day account management of digital ad campaigns, including setup and trafficking, QA and troubleshooting, monitoring performance, delivery, reporting, optimization, and billing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in website and/or ad operations management, preferably in a publisher environment.
  • Strong understanding of website technologies, ad trafficking (GAM), content management systems (CMS), SEO principles, user experience design and
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with a track record of successfully executing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in implementing and utilizing web analytics tools (GA4) for data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development concepts is a plus.
