Product Designer

etf.com is seeking a Product Designer with an opportunity to play a central role in the way we build our subscription product by designing solutions that are valuable and easy to use. You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process from product discovery and design to tweaking pixels with engineers.

We’ll expect you to utilize a full range of product design, interaction design and visual design skills, while partnering with product, engineering and our executive team. This role with report to our Director of Subscription Strategy.

Qualifications

Deliver end-to-end feature design work, including user journeys and flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Design early-stage product ideas and prototypes
Regularly present designs to stakeholders for feedback and to the company at large
Help drive continuous improvement of our design practice from tools to process to team culture
Effectively and empathically collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, editorial, marketers, and data analysts
Advocate for and employ user-centered design methodologies to thoroughly understand customer goals and pain points
Be responsible for our design system to maintain high standards of design quality

Requirements

3+ years of experience delivering successful work for entire product areas for native mobile, web, and/or software applications
Strong portfolio showcasing work and case studies
Demonstrated track record as a Product Design visionary, executor, and team-builder
Ability to identify the true needs of users and apply insights to design strategy and product needs
Experience with experiment design approaches to achieve business goals
Experience with Figma, and maintaining a design system
