Beyond Corn: Three Commodity ETFs Surging This Summer

The spotlight has stayed on commodities ETFs this summer, as funds like the Teucrium Corn ETF (NYSEArca: CORN) tagged on gains of 32.4 percent in a three-month period, but if you’re in search of new ways to play the space, these three ETPs are in the top-five-performing funds in the sector, according to Zacks.

They may have had their rough patches in 2012, but the following were outlined as summer’s all-stars:

  • Teucrium Wheat ETF (NYSEArca: WEAT)
  • iPath Dow Jones-UBS Sugar ETN (NYSEArca: SGG)
  • United States Natural Gas Fund (NYSEArca: UNG)
