Callie Cox, who steps in as the new chief market strategist at Ritholtz Wealth Management, shares her outlook on markets, the economy, Fed policy and more with Advisor Insider.

Based in Charlotte, N.C., Cox is a former financial reporter at Bloomberg. She is charged with representing the $4 billion financial advisory firm to investors and financial advisors.

Cox shares her views on range of topics:

- On inflation: “It looks like it’s coming under control.”
- On interest rates: “Rate cuts are coming, and as long as the economy looks strong, you can think of rate cuts as a relief of sorts.”
- On the market: “We’re in a bull market but it doesn’t seem like a lot of people believe in it.”
- On sitting in cash: “It’s very expensive to miss a bull market if you’re a long-term investor. You have to participate in the stock market to build wealth.”
