Two of the world's largest index-tracking funds led outflows last week, a period in which stocks gained and investors still pulled more money from ETFs then went in.

The [**SPDR S&P 500 Trust (SPY)**](/spy), the world's largest exchange-traded fund, had outflows of $7.48 billion. The [**Vanguard 500 Index fund (VOO)**](/voo), Vanguard Group’s largest ETF and the world’s third-largest, lost $7.47 billion.

BlackRock Inc.’s largest exchange-traded fund, the $471 billion [**iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV)**](/ivv) led inflows last week, thanks to a massive, $12.2 billion slug of cash that hit the fund June 13.

Among the 10 biggest inflows and outflows, more money was pulled from ETFs than came in, according to etf.com data. About $22.4 billion came out while $20.4 billion came in.

IVV, the world’s second-largest ETF, pulled in a net $11.1 billion last week, which reflects outflows early in the week, according to etf.com data published below. The No. 2 recipient of investor cash was the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ), which hauled in $2.31 billion.

Those funds are both weighted, meaning stocks are selected based upon the firms’ market capitalizations.

On a percentage basis, the biggest inflows among the top 10 went to the [**iShares Russell Top 200 Growth ETF (IWY)**](/iwy), which pulled in $1.05 billion, or 8.8%. The biggest outflow hit was to the [**Invesco S&P Midcap Momentum ETF (XMMO)**](/xmmo) which shed $684.1 million or 32%. The [**iShares Global Energy ETF (IXC)**](/ixc), lost $744.6 million, or 32%.
