On one hand, corporate earnings are strong, inflation has cooled, and a new political regime is pledging deregulation and tax cuts that could further stimulate the economy. Yet those seeing the glass half empty might point out that stocks look expensive, the prospect of additional rate cuts seems uncertain, and geopolitical uncertainty looms large. All told, it makes for a complicated picture.
