Investors have been eager to invest in the markets' hottest theme—the boom in artificial intelligence.

But if you check under the hood at most AI-focused ETFs, they all look the same, according to Patti.

The VistaShares executive says that the typical AI exchange-traded fund shares all of the top holdings as broad market exchange-traded funds, making it less useful for investors seeking to capitalize on the AI trend.
