# SPY Leads With $3.9B ETF Inflow As S&P Retreats

The [**SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (SPY)**](/spy) pulled in $3.87 billion in fresh assets Monday even as broader markets declined as the world's largest ETF's assets rose 0.6% to $628.6 billion.

Other core S&amp;P 500 products also attracted inflows, according to etf.com data. The [**iShares Core S&amp;P 500 ETF (IVV)**](/ivv) added $1.02 billion and [**Vanguard S&amp;P 500 ETF (VOO)**](/voo) gaining $883.6 million. The emerging markets sector saw interest as well, with the [**iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (IEMG)**](/iemg) attracting $365.6 million in new assets.

On the outflow side, the [**Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ)**](/qqq) experienced the largest redemption at $1.63 billion, while the [**Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF)**](/xlf) saw outflows of $342.6 million. The [**iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT)**](/tlt) shed $268.6 million.

U.S. equity funds led asset class flows with $3.59 billion in new assets, followed by U.S. fixed income with $1.78 billion. Commodities ETFs gained $754.2 million as investors sought diversification. The ETF industry recorded total net inflows of $6.68 billion for the day.
