# IVV Edges Out SPY With $1.7 Billion in Inflows

 

 

The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) pulled in $1.7 billion Thursday. Here are the daily ETF fund flows for March 28, 2025.

The [**iShares Core S&amp;P 500 ETF (IVV)**](/ivv) pulled in $1.7 billion Thursday, reaching $591.27 billion in assets, surpassing the $589.8 billion [**SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (SPY)**](/spy) to become the second-largest ETF behind the [**Vanguard S&amp;P 500 ETF (VOO)**](/voo), according to etf.com daily fund flows data.

The [**SPDR Portfolio S&amp;P 500 ETF (SPLG)**](/splg) attracted $1.6 billion, while [**First Trust Dorsey Wright Focus 5 ETF (FV)**](/fv) gained $701.9 million, a 16.2% increase to its asset base. The [**Vanguard FTSE Europe ETF (VGK)**](/vgk) collected $391.4 million as European equities drew interest amid U.S. tariff concerns.

VOO saw outflows of $1.2 billion while maintaining its position as the largest ETF with $602.3 billion in assets. The [**iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM)**](/iwm) experienced outflows of $760.6 million, while the [**VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH)**](/smh) lost $221.9 million as tech stocks faced pressure from President Donald Trump's auto tariff announcements.

U.S. equity ETFs led asset class flows with $3.2 billion, while U.S. fixed-income ETFs added $874.2 million. The ETF industry collected $5.6 billion in total net inflows as markets digested the implications of potential new trade tensions.
