Investors pulled $3.2 billion from U.S.-listed ETFs to start April, with redemptions from the [**SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY)**](/spy) leading the way.

SPY saw a sizable $6.5 billion in outflows—by far the largest of the day—as the former world's largest ETF continued to bleed assets. The [**iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT)**](/tlt) also lost nearly $1 billion, reflecting continued volatility in long-term rates.

On the flip side, the [**iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV)**](/ivv) pulled in $1.7 billion, and the[ **iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG)**](/hyg) added $740 million, indicating selective buying in riskier fixed income.

By asset class, leveraged ETFs led inflows with $349.7 million, while U.S. equity ETFs posted the steepest outflows at $2.6 billion. Notably, international fixed income also saw significant outflows of over $500 million.

Despite the net redemptions, total ETF assets remained steady at $10.4 trillion.
