VanEck’s Matthew Sigel, head of digital assets research, joins Talk ETFs to discuss the newly launched [**VanEck Onchain Economy ETF (NODE)**](/node). Unlike traditional crypto equity funds, NODE combines a wide range of companies tied to blockchain, including dividend-paying utilities and fintech names, with a 25% allocation to global crypto funds like VanEck's own [**Bitcoin ETF (HODL)**](/hodl).

Sigel explains how this actively managed ETF aims to offer a smoother ride than pure-play crypto funds like the [**Digital Transformation ETF (DAPP)**](/dapp), striking a balance between offense and defense in a volatile sector.
