# Investors Retreat From International, Turn to U.S. Equities Ahead of Rate Cut

 

 

The highly anticipated Federal Reserve interest rate meeting this week kept investors focused domestically Tuesday, September 16, 2025. A collective retreat from international equities turned instead to an influx into U.S. equities as an asset class. Strategies that benefited spanned the range of equity exposures, including growth, value, mid- and small-cap, as well as broad large-cap equity ETFs.
