# Daily ETF Watch: Guggenheim Closes 2 Funds

Guggenheim Investments shut down two of its ETFs in the waning days of 2015. The Guggenheim BulletShares 2015 Corporate Bond ETF (BSCF) and the Guggenheim BulletShares 2015 High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (BSJF) both saw their last day of trading on Dec. 30 and were delisted on Dec. 31.

Both ETFs were part of Guggenheim’s family of target-date-maturity ETFs. Each BulletShares ETF invests in bonds maturing in a particular year. Currently the investment-grade corporate bond family covers each year from 2016 to 2025, while the high-yield bond family covers 2016 to 2023. The 18 ETFs have combined assets under management of more than $6.0 billion.

Target-date-maturity ETFs are commonly used for laddering strategies and for investment strategies involving specific time horizons.

BSCF and BSJF brought the total closures for 2015 to roughly 100; in 2014, there were about 90 ETF closures.
