AdvisorShares has filed for an actively managed ETF that will target media and technology stocks. The [AdvisorShares New Tech and Media ETF (FNG)](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1408970/000161577417001631/s105843_485apos.htm) will be subadvised by Sabretooth Advisors and is slated to list on the NYSE Arca.

The fund will invest in U.S.-listed companies mainly in the information technology software and services space, but also social media, internet retail and other technology companies.

Sabretooth will use a quantitative approach to select stocks, targeting those that have exhibited consistent market capitalization growth. The fund also will also rely on forward internal guidance and third-party research. Momentum will be used to determine allocations as well as additions to and deletions from the portfolio, while a technical overlay will be used to determine the timing of additions and deletions, according to the prospectus.

The filing did not include an expense ratio.
