April was a mostly positive month for country ETFs. The [**iShares MSCI Poland ETF (EPOL)**](/EPOL) led the way, with a return of 9.61%. That was followed by the [**Global X MSCI Greece ETF (GREK)**](/GREK) and the [**iShares MSCI Taiwan ETF (EWT)**](/EWT), which were up 7.87% and 7.64%, respectively. At the other end of the spectrum, the [**iShares MSCI Chile ETF (ECH)**](/ECH) was down 6.86%, the [**iShares MSCI Peru ETF (EPU)**](/EPU) decreased by 6.66% and the [**Global X MSCI Colombia ETF (GXG)**](/GXG) fell 5.85%. In terms of flows, the [**SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (SPY)**](/SPY) pulled in $590.3 million, more than any other country ETF. The [**iShares China Large-Cap ETF (FXI)**](/FXI) claimed the No. 2 spot, with a gain of $367.6 million, while the [**iShares MSCI Italy ETF (EWI)**](/EWI) added $239.9 million. The [**iShares MSCI South Korea ETF (EWY)**](/EWY), meanwhile, lost more than any other country ETF, with outflows of $858.1 million. It was followed by the [**iShares MSCI Japan ETF (EWJ)**](/EWJ), which dropped $401.4 million, and the [**iShares MSCI Switzerland ETF (EWL)**](/EWL), which lost $208.3 million.
