XLF Leads Financial ETF Inflows With $641M Gain
The VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) has $361 million in outflows; Here are the daily ETF fund flows for January 30, 2025.
The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) pulled in nearly $641.4 million in new assets Wednesday, bringing its total assets under management to $53.6 billion, according to etf.com daily Fund Flows data.
Other equity funds seeing notable inflows included the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP), which attracted $631 million, and the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM), which added nearly $465 million in new assets. The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) saw over $458 million in inflows.
On the outflows side, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) saw nearly $3.3 billion exit the fund, while the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) experienced $427 million in outflows. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) and Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) both saw redemptions of about $2.4 billion each.
U.S. fixed-income funds led asset class gains with over $1 billion in inflows, while international equity funds brought in nearly $805 million. U.S. equity funds saw the largest outflows at $3.2 billion as the overall ETF industry recorded net outflows of $323.5 million for the day.
