Good Hill Partners, a firm known for fixed-income asset management, has filed an exemptive relief request with the Securities & Exchange Commission for actively managed ETFs. The filing covers equity and fixed-income funds as well as domestic and international funds.

The initial ETF outlined in the filing is the Good Hill Short Duration Actively Managed ETF, which will invest in short-term fixed-income securities.

The firm’s website describes its investment process as a combination of “research-driven fundamental analysis with experienced portfolio management and disciplined surveillance,” and it seems likely Good Hill will use a similar approach with its ETFs.
