iShares has reduced the expense ratios on 11 of its ETFs, effective Aug. 4. The mix includes eight bond ETFs and three environmental, social and governance (ESG) equity funds. The three ESG funds saw the largest cuts, with ESGD’s fee cut in half to 0.20%, while ESGU and ESGE saw cuts almost as significant, dropping from 0.28% and 0.45%, respectively, to 0.15% and 0.25%.

The bond funds all saw their expense ratios trimmed by 2-10 basis points.

The affected funds have around $1 billion in assets under management or less. The smallest of the funds is ESGU, which only has $5.4 million in assets under management.
