Exchange traded fund provider WisdomTree has added two new ETFs to its product range following its entry to the European market last month when it launched four products on the London Stock Exchange.
The two new UCITS ETFs are the WisdomTree Emerging Markets Equity Income UCITS ETF (ticker: DEM) which has a TER of 0.46% and the WisdomTree Emerging Markets SmallCap Dividend UCITS ETF (ticker: DGSE) with a TER of 0.54%. It brings the provider’s total products on the LSE to six.
The ETFs are launched on the back of increasingly global demand for exposure to ‘smart beta’ and emerging markets, according to a note from WisdomTree.
They track proprietary WisdomTree indexes, which have been live since 2007. The indexes are designed to be an alternative to market capitalisation-weighted indexes.
The other ETFs offered by WisdomTree track European and U.S. equities and equity income and small cap dividend-weighted stocks. Their total expense ratios range between 0.29 percent and 0.38 percent per year and they are available for trading in GBP, EUR and USD currencies.
WisdomTree’s note says that it is Europe’s first ETF provider focussed on dividend-weighted ETFs and Europe’s first issuer of dividend-weighted small-cap ETFs including Europe’s first emerging markets small-cap dividend-weighted ETF.
