Funds like the iShares MSCI Philippines ETF (NYSEArca: EPHE) and the iShares Turkey Index Fund (NYSEArca: TUR) served as fine examples of the resurgence of emerging markets in 2012, but it’s worth noting that a number of ETFs focused on the developing world fell short last year, according to an article on Zacks.
