About the Role

ETF.com is looking for a Digital Account Manager to help scale our growing online advertising business!

In this new role within our New York-based sales team, you will work directly with our marquee clients and prospects across the ETF space, ensuring our clients derive maximum value from their advertising and sponsorship opportunities on the ETF.com website and ETF Report magazine.

Your day-to-day role will involve significant interaction with clients, their agencies, and our ad operations team in order to meet client expectations, manage campaign timelines for digital projects, and provide strategic guidance and top-notch service. The role will help foster an efficient, team-driven culture and support the overall growth of team revenue.

The ideal candidate will have extensive digital media experience either on the agency or publisher side.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work in concert with the Global Head of Sales, supporting overall sales efforts, including managing existing business and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Maintain pre-sales and post-sales relationships with clients, including managing their standard and native advertising campaigns
  • Manage & monitor digital advertising campaigns by coordinating with internal operations, clients, and client agencies to provide solutions and optimize campaigns
  • Work with ETF.com product and growth team to make sure advertising solutions are in line with overall digital strategy
  • Prospect and qualify specified new opportunities in targeted growth areas Drive upsells and renewals
  • Represent ETF.com in meetings with clients and prospects
  • Deliver monthly effectiveness reports for digital campaigns to all clients
  • Maintain awareness of advertiser activity and competition to identify new business opportunities and potential enhancements to the ETF.com website
  • Collaborate and support sales team to share information, resources, and databases
  • Provide marketing support, including supporting events and conferences
  • Assist with the development of sales proposals

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years in digital advertising on either the publisher or agency side
  • Familiar with common ad technologies and best practices at a technical and marketing level
  • 3+ years working in an external, client-facing environment
  • Experience using data to make recommendations to clients and partners
  • Proficiency in Google docs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and SalesForce.com
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
