Diving into the wonderful world of exchange-traded funds can be daunting. ETFs seem to be everywhere, and have changed the market into a simpler, investor-friendly place. But what does that mean? In this introductory course, we’re bringing it back to basics. What are ETFs? Why are they so “great”? We’ll also take a deep dive into that ETF linchpin: the creation/redemption mechanism.

Dave Nadig, managing director of ETF.com, and Cinthia Murphy, managing editor of ETF.com, will provide students a 101 overview:

  • What are ETFs, and how do they work?
  • The current ETF landscape
  • Key players, from issuers to APs
  • The ins and outs of the creation/redemption mechanism

But this session isn't just a one-way street. During the presentation, you'll be able to ask questions and help redirect the conversation toward aspects of ETFs that are most relevant to you and your clients. We hope you'll join us.
