Equity ETFs Lead Weekly Flows, 'HYG' Stands Out
Investors poured $9.2 billion in fresh net assets into equity ETFs—both U.S. and international—in the past week ended Thursday, July 16, as the S&P 500 rose 3.5 percent. Also popular were U.S. fixed-income ETFs, particularly junk bond fund 'HYG,' which had its biggest weekly inflow to-date of roughly $1.5 billion.
