BETZ tracks a tier-weighted index of global companies selected by committee that are involved in the sports betting & iGaming industry.
BETZ Factset Analytics Insight
BETZ is the second ETF by RoundHill investments and the first ETF to offer global passive exposure to companies in sports betting and iGaming industry. These companies are those actively involved in sports books and gambling operating in-person or online, and those providing infrastructure or technology to such companies. Securities included in the index are selected by committee which segregates the selection pool into three groups: Pure-play, Core and Non-core, based on their operations and/or growth prospects towards sports betting. Pure-play securities being heavily focused on sports betting, to Non-core which may have sports betting as a relevant driver in the future. The Index is tier-weighted whereby Core companies receives 150% of Non-core’s initial weight and Pure-play receives 150% of Core’s weight. These weights are adjusted by the numbers of companies in each group during quarterly rebalance and reconstitution to ensure a 100% combined weight.

The MSCI ESG Fund Rating measures the resiliency of portfolios to long-term risks and opportunities arising from environmental, social, and governance factors. ESG Fund Ratings range from best (AAA) to worst (CCC). Highly rated funds consist of companies that tend to show strong and/or improving management of financially relevant environmental, social and governance issues. These companies may be more resilient to disruptions arising from ESG events.
The fund’s Peer Rank reflects the ranking of a fund’s MSCI ESG Fund Quality Score against the scores of other funds within the same peer group, as defined by the Thomson Reuters Lipper Global Classification. Roundhill Sports Betting & iGaming ETF ranks in the 36th percentile within its peer group and in the 50th percentile within the global universe of all funds covered by MSCI ESG Fund Ratings.
BETZ MSCI FaCS and Factor Box
MSCI FaCS is a standard method for evaluating and reporting the Factor characteristics of equity portfolios including ETFs.
