BKSE tracks a market-cap-weighted index of small-cap stocks that cover the bottom 3-10% capitalization of the US equity market.
BKSE Factset Analytics Insight
BKSE provides investors with broad exposure to the small-cap equity space. The fund tracks an index that has an initial universe of US common stocks, tracking stocks and real estate investment trusts (REITs). The index includes an exclusionary liquidity screen—securities with over 10 non-trading days during the previous quarter or fall in the bottom 25% liquidity ranking of the universe are eliminated from the index. The final portfolio is comprised of the remaining securities that represent the bottom 3-10% market capitalization of the investable universe. The index is reconstituted semi-annually and rebalanced quarterly.
