CHII Factset Analytics Insight
CHII offers exposure to China’s industrial space. The fund tracks the MSCI China Industrials 10/50 Index, a capped variant of our MSCI benchmark that excludes small-caps and limits concentration to large firms. Starting with all eligible large- and midcap Chinese companies, CHII selects those that are classified under the industrials sector according to GICS and weights them by market-cap. At each quarterly rebalance, the fund employs a capping methodology so that no individual security has a weight greater than 10% and the aggregate weight of securities with over 5% weight of the index is capped at 50% weight of the portfolio. Prior to December 6, 2018, CHII tracked a Solactive index of Chinese industrial firms which includes small-caps but omits A-share coverage.
