DEM tracks a dividend-weighted index of emerging market stocks ranked in the top 30% by dividend yield.
DEM Factset Analytics Insight
DEM screens for the highest dividend-yielding stocks within the emerging markets. Including in its selection universe are dividend-paying companies over the prior annual cycle that meet minimum liquidity and size requirements. DEM selects the top 30% of firms ranked by dividend yield from the WisdomTree Emerging Markets Dividend Index. In addition, approximately 100 Chinese domestic listed companies by highest dividend yield that meet the index eligibility criteria will be selected for inclusion. Selected securities are then weighted based on dividends paid over the preceding annual cycle. Companies that pay higher dividends are more heavily weighted. Index reconstitution occurs annually.

The MSCI ESG Fund Rating measures the resiliency of portfolios to long-term risks and opportunities arising from environmental, social, and governance factors. ESG Fund Ratings range from best (AAA) to worst (CCC). Highly rated funds consist of companies that tend to show strong and/or improving management of financially relevant environmental, social and governance issues. These companies may be more resilient to disruptions arising from ESG events.
The fund’s Peer Rank reflects the ranking of a fund’s MSCI ESG Fund Quality Score against the scores of other funds within the same peer group, as defined by the Thomson Reuters Lipper Global Classification. WisdomTree Emerging Markets High Dividend Fund ranks in the 18th percentile within its peer group and in the 1st percentile within the global universe of all funds covered by MSCI ESG Fund Ratings.
