FASDirexion Daily Financial Bull 3x Shares
FAS Fund Description
FAS provides 3x leveraged exposure to a market-cap-weighted index of US large-cap financial companies.
FAS Factset Analytics Insight
FAS provides 3x leveraged exposure to the Russell 100 Financial Services Index—a subset consisting of large-cap financial companies from the Russell 1000 Index. FAS charges a fee for such exposure, however, the product isn’t designed for long-term investors. As a result, compounding and path dependency make its long-term returns difficult to predict when compared with its underlying index. As a levered product, FAS is not a buy-and-hold ETF, it's a short-term tactical instrument. The fund rebalances daily. Over longer periods, returns can vary significantly from 3x exposure to its underlying index.
