FIHD Factset Analytics Insight

FIHD provides 2x levered exposure to the MSCI World High Dividend Yield Index, which tracks large- and midcap stocks from developed market countries determined to have sustainable and persistent dividends. Investors will not see cash distributions, however dividends paid from index constituents will be reflected in the index return level. The index employs quality screens to determine dividend sustainability, including factors such as return-on-equity, earnings variability, and debt-to-equity. The fund also resets its leverage on a quarterly basis. As a levered product, FIHD is more of a tactical tool rather than a long term holding. Investors with time horizons that don't align with the reset period aren't likely to achieve the 2x multiple.
