FLRTPacific Global Senior Loan ETF
FLRT Fund Description
FLRT is an actively managed fund targeting floating-rate debt from non-investment-grade issuers.
FLRT Factset Analytics Insight
FLRT goal is to provide high current income from its portfolio of floating-rate bank loans and other floating-rate debt securities. The managers of the fund—Pacific Asset Management (not to be confused with PIMCO)—use a proprietary investment process to protect against the potential downside of investing in the low end of the credit spectrum. The process starts with a top-down macro assessment to decide on the appropriate level of risk, according to market conditions. The investment team then performs a bottom-up credit analysis to select individual securities within the defined investment universe. The focus is on the largest/most liquid issues in the space and those that offer the best relative value. Prior to December 30, 2019 the fund was named AdvisorShares Pacific Asset Enhanced Floating Rate ETF.
