GDVD R3 Global Dividend Growth ETF
What is GDVD?
GDVD seeks to provide income through an actively managed portfolio of global dividend-paying stocks whose growth potential is expected to be above-average.
GDVD Factset Analytics Insight
GDVD comes back as R Cubed’s first ETF. The actively managed fund seeks to identify dividend-paying companies that have an above-average growth potential. To construct the portfolio, the fund manager uses a combination of quantitative screens and qualitative research on both an industry and company level. Quantitative screens include dividend yield, return on investment, cash flow, and revenue growth. Whereas the qualitative research covers an industry’s supply/demand characteristics, short- and long-term positions, and company’s competitive advantage, financial strength and profitability. The fund holds a broad portfolio of global stocks across industries, size, and style spectrum. At least 40% of the fund’s net assets may be allocated in foreign securities, including emerging market stocks. GDVD was a previously closed fund issued by Principal. R Cubed acquired the fund and although the name was changed, the strategy has remained the same.
