IPAY Fund Description

IPAY tracks an index of global equity in credit card firms, and companies providing payment infrastructure, payment services, payment processing and payment solutions.

IPAY Factset Analytics Insight

IPAY aims for pure-play exposure to the narrow niche of mobile payments. While fintech start-ups may leap to mind, credit card names land at the top of the portfolio. Still, the fund’s weighting system, which ranks rather than weights firms by their market cap allows about 6% each. Firms providing payment infrastructure, processing, solutions and services—as defined by index provider ISE—round out the basket. The index is reviewed quarterly. On June 30, 2020, the fund announced the reorganization and change of fund managers from ETF Managers Group to Exchange Traded Concepts. The acquisition is pending subject to shareholder approval.
