IVSGInvesco Select Growth ETF
IVSG Fund Description
IVSG is an actively-managed, non-transparent ETF that invests in a narrow selection of global companies with attractive growth outlooks.
IVSG Factset Analytics Insight
IVSG is part of Invesco’s first active non-transparent ETFs. The fund adviser uses a bottom-up approach to look into company fundamentals as it seeks to invest in a concentrated portfolio of 25-30 stocks that are believed to have attractive earnings or revenue growth. Aside from promising growth outlooks, the fund may also consider compelling valuation levels. Although IVSG aims to primarily hold US large- and midcap stocks, it may invest up to 25% of its assets in common stocks of foreign issuers, either through ADRs or by investing directly in foreign companies. Notably, the fund does not publicly disclose its complete holdings daily, and instead publishes a “substitute basket” daily on its website, in place of the actual portfolio. Invesco discloses IVSG’s full holdings on a quarterly basis, with a 30-day lag.
