MTVR Fount Metaverse ETF
What is MTVR?
MTVR tracks a modified market-cap-weighted index of globally-listed companies involved in the future iteration of the internet—the metaverse.
MTVR Factset Analytics Insight
MTVR is passively managed to provide vanilla exposure to companies that develop, manufacture, distribute, or sell products and services related to metaverse technology. It includes the following segments of metaverse: augmented reality, life log, mirror world, and virtual world. The index uses a proprietary AI algorithm to analyze data from public filings and forecast each company’s one-year forward revenue from metaverse technology. To be eligible for inclusion, a company must be expected to derive more than 50% of its revenue from metaverse and should have a minimum market capitalization of $300 million. The top 50 stocks by market capitalization are selected. The resulting portfolio is weighted using a modified market-cap-weighting methodology that factors in expected metaverse revenue per segment. The index is rebalanced on an annual basis.
