OAIE Optimize AI Smart Sentiment Event-Driven ETF
OAIE Fund Description
OAIE is an actively managed long-only portfolio that holds 10 to 40 equity securities of US-listed companies. Stocks are selected using AI to monitor option activity and assess market sentiment
OAIE Factset Analytics Insight
OAIE employs an event-driven strategy using artificial intelligence to gage market sentiment from listed options. The adviser believes Smart Sentiment provides short-term investment guidance around events, and that trading before and after corporate events tactically is a good way to enhance long-term capital appreciation while reducing market risk. Such corporate events may include earnings call, product announcements, mergers and acquisitions, as well as regulatory and sector events that may have an impact on stock values. This narrow portfolio primarily consists of US-listed companies, but may also include broad-based equity index ETFs and mutual funds to maintain exposure between earnings announcements or participate in large-scale macroeconomic market events. Since stocks are typically actively traded and liquid, the fund limits its analysis to stocks with weekly options. Investors should note that this fund is a long-only equity portfolio without direct exposure to options.
