PFF Fund Description

The iShares U.S. Preferred Stock ETF tracks an index of preferred stock traded on the NYSE and NASDAQ. Stocks are selected by rules-based, proprietary methods and weighted by modified market cap.

PFF Factset Analytics Insight

PFF targets preferred securities irrespective of credit rating, providing a broad and diversified portfolio. The fund’s holdings reflect the nature of the market in that financial institutions dominate the holdings. (PFF happens to track the same index we've chosen as a neutral benchmark.) To limit concentration risk, the fund caps any single issuer’s weight at 10%. PFF charges a competitive fee and tracks its index reasonably well. The fund has strong on-screen liquidity and tight spreads, making all-in costs low relative to peer ETFs. PFF particularly stands out for strong block liquidity, making it the fund of choice for large traders.

PFF MSCI ESG Analytics Insight

PFF ranks in the 12nd percentile within its peer group and in the 12nd percentile within the global universe of all funds in MSCI ESG Fund Metrics coverage.
