PKB Invesco Dynamic Building & Construction ETF
What is PKB?
PKB tracks an index of building and construction companies, selected using multiple factors and weighted in tiers.
PKB Factset Analytics Insight
PKB covers the US building and construction industry and related services. The scope further expands to manufacturers of materials for home improvement and general construction and specialized machinery for construction, companies that provide installation, maintenance work, and land developers. Portfolio construction begins with the 2,000 largest, most liquid stocks on the NYSE, NYSE MKT and the NASDAQ. Firms are evaluated by multiple factors: price and earnings momentum, quality (ROE, asset turnover, FCF margin), management action (change in capital expenditure, share buybacks, total dividends paid), and value. The resulting portfolio of 30 stocks is weighted in tiers, grouped by market cap, then equally-weighted within their groups. The tiered weighting scheme creates a small-cap tilt. Top-ranked larger stocks receive 40% of index weight, while the top-ranked smaller stocks are given 60%. The Index undergoes quarterly rebalance and reconstitution starting each February.
