PSCF Fund Description

PSCF tracks a market-cap-weighted index of financial services companies in the US small-cap market.

PSCF Factset Analytics Insight

PSCF is nothing like our segment benchmark which has been favorable at times, and a burden at others. PSCF achieved this divergent performance by being small-cap focused in a large-cap world. Its weighted average market cap falls far below the sector's average. This tilt steers PSCF away from financial giants. Still, market conditions change quickly in financials, so long-term investors should be comfortable with a fund that holds small and micro-caps almost exclusively. Further, PSCF trades thinly and may not be optimal for active traders. PSCF's small-cap and growth biases represent a unique (opportunistic at times) take on a large-caps dominated industry.
