PSCI Fund Description

PSCI tracks a cap-weighted index of industrial stocks selected from the S&P SmallCap 600.

PSCI Factset Analytics Insight

PSCI delivers traditional cap-weighted exposure to US industrial companies—but just the small-caps. Since small-caps make up only 5% of the sector by market capitalisation, it isn't surprising that PSCI has very little in common with the broader industry. The fund underweights top-heavy industries like aerospace & defense, and avoids industrial conglomerates altogether, favoring small machinery & equipment companies instead. PSCI's small-cap approach produces a portfolio that looks altogether more "growthy" than competing funds as measured by P/E. For this unique exposure, PSCI charges a reasonable fee, but getting in and out is slightly more challenging: Spreads are considerable and daily dollar volume could be better.

PSCI MSCI ESG Analytics Insight

Invesco S&P SmallCap Industrials ETF has an MSCI ESG Fund Rating of BBB based on a score of 4.79 out of 10. The MSCI ESG Fund Rating measures the resiliency of portfolios to long-term risks and opportunities arising from environmental, social, and governance factors. ESG Fund Ratings range from best (AAA) to worst (CCC). Highly rated funds consist of companies that tend to show strong and/or improving management of financially relevant environmental, social and governance issues. These companies may be more resilient to disruptions arising from ESG events.

The fund’s Peer Rank reflects the ranking of a fund’s MSCI ESG Fund Quality Score against the scores of other funds within the same peer group, as defined by the Thomson Reuters Lipper Global Classification. Invesco S&P SmallCap Industrials ETF ranks in the 36th percentile within its peer group and in the 32nd percentile within the global universe of all funds covered by MSCI ESG Fund Ratings.
