PSCT
Invesco S&P SmallCap Information Technology ETFPSCT Fund Description
PSCT tracks a market cap-weighted index of small cap U.S. technology companies. Its selection universe is limited to the S&P SmallCap 600.
PSCT Factset Analytics Insight
PSCT offers the only targeted exposure to small-cap US technology companies currently available in ETF form. It pulls its securities from the S&P Small Cap 600 and as you'd expect, it doesn't look much like the broader tech segment. Its vastly lower average market cap and a committee-based selection mechanism results in less-than-pure-play exposure. PSCT includes securities that we put outside of the space, with a hefty allocation to machinery, equipment & components, while it massively underweights bread-and-butter industries like software & IT. Risk is a bit higher thanks to this construction. PSCT's liquidity is decent, but nothing special and spreads are only manageable. Underlying liquidity is fair for those looking to trade in bulk. PSCT is one of the cheaper funds in the technology segment—impressive for a fund made up entirely of small-cap stocks. The fund has tended to lag its index by a bit more than its fee. Just as important, it has shown little variation in tracking its index.
